Future Acoustic

Tonight's Future Acoustic was pretty good. There were Chocoball, Hilson and his friends, Yik and me.

Chocoball is a young 4-peice group. I talked to them and they told me they are more a punk rock, pop rock band, so playing softer acoustic music is not their strength. However, I think they were pretty good and I think they will eventually get better and better.

Hilson this time didn't play guitar for his set. He chose some softer songs for the event which I think was good. I like some arrangements of his new songs. He added jazz and some blues in his songs which is new to him. I really support this brother, God bless him!

Yik and I re-arranged some of his songs. The songs have more breakdowns now but we were not so ready so we did some mistakes here and there, but it was a good try. For my part, Hilson helped me on guitar and Yik did the percussion. Played 2 songs by Henry which talked about Jesus's road to the cross and cruxified. Then sang one song I wrote. Hum, tonite wasn't at the best so made some mistakes as well.

Anyway the highlight of the night came when a Christian lady came up to us and took a mic and asked audience questions. Something like why would you believe in Jesus. I was suprised but yet felt so good that people actually gave us response. She also helped us to move things and packed stuffs after the show, thanks alot to that lady!

Yeah, Jesus is around!

Touch Music

Today I took 1/2 day off. Why? Because I went to visit a very cool place, Touch Music

I met a very nice guy called Wahdee today who is responsible for the studio and the production. He showed us the studio and his staffs. During our conversation, we shared our missions and visions. We talked about how our ministries started and how God leads and uses us. I really feel so blessed what God has given me. I treasure this meeting alot because Wahdee reminded me that having faith in HIM is what we (Christians/Ministries) need the most.

It was so nice of him to tell me that if we G-ONE needs any help in the future, we can always go to Touch Music. I really hope that one day all the Christian music groups/ministries/bands can join together and do something together and make an impact to our city. With HIS power, I think nothing is impossible.

God Bless Y'all.

閔政浩

Well, when there are over 30 people telling you that you look like an actor from the hit Korean episode, I think I really have to check him out!

4 weeks ago:
"Hey Joe, have you watched 'Dai Cheung Kam'?"
I was like, "huh? What's that?"
"Oh it's a Korean TV episode, go watch it cos you look like a guy there."
"Oh, ok!"

Today:
"Hey you watched......" (without even finish it)
"I know what u want to say guy, I look like that korean dude right? You are the 30th person to say that."

I Cried Today

Let me be in green pastures,
Let me not want, let me never want
I see quiet water and you restore my soul
I walked down that path today and I am not alone
So I cried today
I dont know why I cried
Maybe it's your love
Maybe it's your touch

Uncle Joe - I Cried Today

Uncle Joe

Uncle Joe is the band I like alot. One of my all time favorite song is called "I Cried Today". I have listened to it so many times but I never find it boring. But this time I get hooked by another song called "An Exhortation to Humility" from the same album "Send Home to Victoria".

He was a God
Yet like a man
Servant to others
Before anything plan
