Poor Dogs!

What the f**K!!! Why would people do this so unhumanly act? Damn it! All I can say we have alot of stupid MFs in this world.

Taxi Driver Ken

So after the wedding, I took a taxi with Uncle Jim and Auntie Jim. On the road we talked a bit and the driver also joined us a bit. So after getting uncle and auntie home, the driver drove me to my home. The driver and I talked a bit about life in general. I told him we were from a wedding banquet. The driver asked me have I got married, I told him I don't even have a gf. (Hey girls, take notes! hehee...) Anyway, he told me that he's married but divorced, though he has a daughter. I told him if his daughter is living with him, the driver said no and he started telling me his story. He told me that his ex-wife would not allow their child to see him. He said that back then they were rich and they earned good money, however the driver then told me few years ago he didn't make as much, but his ex-wife still spent alot and at last they got divorced. He said he didn't understand why people are always crazy for money. Anyway, I guess no one knows! I then told him about my belief and how I talk and pray to God. Guess what, he told me he's a Christian too! He told me because he was bad (illegal car race) before and his background couldn't win him his daugther when they got divorced. He told me he's so afriad that his daughter will soon forget him. I encouraged him to pray more and I shared him with my own story. The story is about Henry prayed for me for six years and how I finally turn to a Christian. We traded business card. After shaking his hand, all off a sudden I wanted to pray for him, so I held his hand and we did a prayer in the car. We prayed for him and his daughter.

I don't know what's going on in the future, but I know that if we have faith in our God, one day we will know the answer! I also believe that God will provide us the best we could never imagine! ADD OIL Ken!

Mr. and Mrs. Jim

Congratulation to Henry and Beverly!

One of my best friends Henry got married in Toronto couple weeks ago! I was asked to be his best man for the banquet tonight! The hotel was very nice and classy! As for the food, I didn't really have the time to taste them because I needed to be one of the MCs as well. Tsui was the main MC and he was awesome! I thought I wasn't that good because it's hard for me to be serious when talking in front of people. So I guess I can manage to be a MC in some rock show but not really a wedding banquet. Anyway, it's so great to see them getting married! I have witnessed their relationship as well as their love under God's guide. What so amazing about their relationship was that there was a time that they were seperated because Henry went to Vancouver to study his master degree. You know it's so hard to maintain the relationship when the two were not together. Beside they had a good foundation, I truly believe that it was God who makes this marriage happens!

My New Job

It's been a week I haven't updated my blog! Why? Because I was so busy with my new job. I started on last Monday 17th. I don't have a regular work hour like most people do because this is a production studio; therefore when we have work coming in, we just have to finish it before deadline. Oh yeah, the deadline is always very tight! My first 2 days I left work at 1am and 11:45pm. It was because we had 2 jobs at the same day! Crazy!!! Though my average work hour is like 12, 13 a day! Just that I don't need to go to the studio that early. If there is no photo shoot in the morning, usually I get to the studio around 10:30am. As for the number of working days, I can tell you that there is nothing called "days of work" Like today (Sunday) and yesterday I went to work from the morning to 6ish because we had a photo shoot on Sunday's morning.

Overall this is a challenging job with alot of stuffs to learn! Like I won't get to do the same thing over and over. I need to know alot of different stuffs from creative aspect to production. Somehow I feel stressed because I never worked this long hour before, though the time run fast which is a good thing! I just hope that I can manage my time so I can do something on my own at some weekday nights. The director told me that many people don't last long in this company because they thought it's too much work load and hour, but then after they go back to the 9-5 job, they would find it boring!

More update on my job later, hope to take some photos to show you guys! I need some zzz now! Take care y'all!

Life Show Vol.5

Last night went to Warehouse to watch the show! It was awesome! I couldn't get there on time. I missed Attention to Piss who I think started the show. I got to see Los en Found which played better than last time I think. Then I talked to Hang in person for the first time. As I may join their band and see what's going on! I am sure in love with playing hard music! Went back to see the show after the break and it was thelovesong. They are great band and I really enjoyed their music last nite. Then I met Jacqueline to talked about guitars and her band. She introduced me another guy who may play guitar for her band later on. Anyway, good luck! So we went back to watch King Ly Chee. They played very tight and very good as a band. The crowd went nuts! Circle pit, battle field!!! Man If I am 10 yrs younger I am sure will be in the pit! haha. After KLC, it was the main band Tookoo from Bejing. I think they are ok but not that particular. Jacq and I were in the front checking out the guitarist's effect pedals. He used around 8-10 pedals. He did have some cool sound. Though for me I like it simple. :) After show talked to Jacq and her friend for a bit more. This guy told me he didn't listen to any music in 2003 because he said there wasn't any good music. Funny dude! Oh yeah, he's a Christian too! I asked him to go to Mong Kok for Future Acoustic on 29th.

So after I left Warehouse, I headed to LKF to meet up a friend from Macau. She brought me to her friends' party and we drank a bit and danced abit. Seriously it's not really my scene but hey I enjoyed a drink or 2 so it was ok. Got home around 5:30am and I was dead! haha

Another Wish List

KFK-1 TEN BAND EQUALIZER

If MXR's M-108 10-Band EQ isn't heavy enough for you, check out its evil twin, the Kerry King 10-Band. Designed in conjunction with the legendary Slayer guitarist, this beastly, tattoo-covered pedal sports the same great features and hardcore construction as the M-108, but the King can punish two amps at once thanks to its dual outputs. Use it as a boost for solos or to create thrash-approved, scooped-mid rhythm tones. Create raging sustain and feedback while getting more thunderous low-end out of your rig than you ever thought possible. The Kerry King 10-Band EQ: Use with caution. And don’t say we didn’t warn you

Experiencing with God

Speaking of interview, actually I turned down an interview which is on Monday. Well, last Friday I got a call from a design company as they told me they want to hire someone to do graphic design/ package design for an adult toys company. They were even okay with my expected salary. We arranged an interview on Monday. However I started to have this thought about conflict between the job and my belief. Anyway, I talked to some people (Christians and non-believers) and I received two different views. Then on Sunday after church, I got to talk to some bro and sis as I shared my thought, most of them suggested I shouldn't take the job. Anyway, I thought they were right and I said to myself, maybe I won't take the job but why not going to the interview to gain interview experience. Then Sunday night during our VSG meeting, we had a prayer meeting. As we prayed, there was a voice telling me DON'T EVEN GO TO THE INTERVIEW. It repeated a few times so after prayer I told the G-ONE family about not to go to the interview, they were all happy for me and told me God will have a better job coming up for me.

Anyway, after I rejected that job, I got 4 calls from yesterday (actually they were calls right after me sending out emails at the internet cafe). I don't know if I will get one of these jobs, but hey at least God rewarded me for the interview experience that I once have lost, and He actually gave me 4 of them!

Thanks God and I need your prayers!
Joe

Internet and Interview

Finally I got my internet back at home. Now I don't need to go to any internet cafe! YEAH!

Today I went to 2 interviews, one in the morning at TST and another in the afternoon at Chai Wan. I really like the 2nd one as the company does cool design and it's more interesting. The boss who interviewed me is a cool dude. He's quite handsome and I think most girls will fall for this type of guy. Young, good looking, well built with muscle, tanned and tall. I guess some may not like him because he has long hair and tied up. Anyway, I want this job!

No Internet!

Since I have just moved, my new place doesn't have internet service till later this week. I am now at the internet cafe at a Youth Outreach Centre next to Sai Wan Ho MTR station. It's a great place for young people. It opens 24 hrs for people to come to hang out. It's good because there are social workers and volunteers to help street kids to find a safe place to go. There are hip hop dance class, basketball court, bandroom, study room and even arcade and k-room. Oh yeah, they also have some resident for people to rent to live. We need something like this in this city!

Moved

Yes, I moved again. Let me count how many times I moved:

1. Choi Hung, HK
2. Mei Foo, HK
3. Basement of a house at Edmonton, Canada
4. Apartment at Ed
5. 11014 - 80Ave at Ed
6. 25 Silverthrone at Toronto,Canada
7. Bamburgh Circle, Toronto
8. Another floor for Bamburgh Circle, Toronto
9. Andy's basement, TO
10. Chen family's basement, TO
11. Fortress Hill, HK

I am sure I will move and move and move again! SUCKS cos I hate packing stuffs!!!
